April has swiftly stitched its way to the end, but we’re finally getting our calendar out! We’ve got a couple of heartwarming events lined up that are sure to add a splash of joy to your yarn baskets.
**Celebrate Earth and Craft with Us!**
Though Earth Day has just passed, our celebration is just gearing up! Join us this Wednesday, April 24th, for our special "Urth Day" event. In partnership with the fantastic folks at Urth Yarns—who plant a tree for every skein sold—we’re excited to offer you 25% off all Urth yarns, all day long. You can shop this amazing deal both in-store and online. It's your chance to craft beautifully while supporting a greener earth!
We also have something special for our tea drinkers. As a part of National Parks Week all Simpson and Vail National Parks teas are Buy One, Get One 50% off through Saturday
**Local Yarn Shop Day - Celebrating You!**
Speaking of Saturday, mark your calendars for the coziest day of the year—Local Yarn Shop Day on Saturday, April 27th. This day is all about celebrating you, our cherished crafting community, who weave warmth and beauty into every stitch. We are thrilled to share exclusive patterns from designers Casapinka and Double the Stitches, free with your yarn purchase to make them. Plus, several yarn companies have sent special patterns that perfectly match their yarns.
We’re also super excited to introduce a new yarn line by our very own Reannon Dorning. Her "Harp and Dragon" line features a limited edition LYS Day 2024 colorway available in fingering, sport, and DK weights. The fingering weight is a dreamy blend of merino wool, silk, and yak—absolutely perfect for your next luxurious project.
And what’s a celebration without some extra fun? Expect delightful food, fabulous prizes, and plenty of fun activities to enjoy while you mingle with fellow yarn enthusiasts.
Can’t wait to see you there,
Pat and the Ewe Crew
