Art, Yarn and Tea, Oh My!!!

Hi friends,

Arts Trail on Broad is happening today and tomorrow — Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9 — and downtown is already looking festive.

Broad Street will be closed to traffic between 4th and 6th Street, which means the street in front of the shop will be closed during the event. But don’t worry — we are still very easy to get to.

The free parking lot behind the store will be open, and our back door will be open too. Just park in back, look for our red door with the logo, and come right in.

And yes, the sidewalk in front of the store will still be open, so if you’re strolling Broad Street and enjoying the artwork, you can come in from the front too.

It should be a fun couple of days downtown. There will be bands, art booths all up and down the 400 and 500 blocks of Broad Street, food trucks, live demos, and lots of special events, including activities at the Gadsden Museum of Art. You can check their Facebook page for more details.

While you’re enjoying the Art Walk, pop in and grab a perfect Mother’s Day gift—from yarny treats to relaxing teas, we’ve got something special for every mom!

We’ll be serving tea both days, so please stop in for a cup while you’re admiring all the artwork. A little art, a little music, a little tea, and a little yarn sounds like a very good weekend to us.

Also, our Beginning Knitting class starts tomorrow morning at 10 AM. If you’re coming for class, please plan to park in the lot behind the store and come in through the back door.

We can’t wait to see you. Come enjoy downtown, support the artists, and make sure you stop in and say hello while you’re out and about.

See you soon,

Pat and the Ewe Crew
